Custom, smaller bodied "Caribbean
Feminine" guitar designed for the
female player by luthier Sylvan
Wells.
Back and sides are straight grained
Brazilian Rosewood as is the
headstock and binding trim.
Top is Sitka Spruce. Guitar was
finished in 2004, carefully stored
with humidifier and very rarely
played.
It has a 24.9" scale which joins the
body at the 12th fret.
The soundhole is trimmed in
rosewood to seal the end grain of
the soundhole. Abalone and pearl
flowers decorate the ebony
fingerboard and pearl inlay outlines
the top, soundhole and back center
line.
It is equipped with a passive, K&K
western pickup system (under
bridge) for playing through an
amplifier or PA system.
Beautiful, one of a kind guitar with
a powerful, balanced voice and
constructed of rare Brazilian
Rosewood.
