craftsmanship and over 30 years of
Guitar", originally built here in
Massachusetts in the late 1800's - early
1900's.
The process of commissioning your custom
guitar is simple. Sylvan will meet with you
at Re-Tunes and observe your playing
style. You will discuss with him special
appointments you would like ... exotic
woods, inlays, even names or initials.
Sylvan will then create a unique guitar
based on the original Bay State "Tilton",
"Excelsior or new, larger, "Ditson"
dreadnought style.
Wells Guitars also offers a comprehensive
guitar building course than may be
completed in as little as 10 days. You will
build your own guitar under the expert
supervision of Sylvan Wells in his fully
equipped workshop.

Re-Tunes has the standard, non
customized versions of all three guitars on
display and available to try. We are sure
you will be impressed with both the visual
and tonal quality of the Wells designed
and hand built guitars.
